Serve WordPress from the edge, without the rebuilds
Going headless shouldn’t mean going slow
The usual headless stack trades one set of problems for another.
Full rebuilds on every edit
Most headless setups rebuild the entire site to fix a single typo. It is slow now and only gets slower as you publish more.
Manual cache purges
You end up purging the CDN by hand, or over-purging and tanking your hit rate. Content and cache drift apart.
Monthly platform fees
Managed platforms meter builds, bandwidth, and seats. StaticQ runs on your own Cloudflare account, no per-build or per-seat billing.
One edit. Only the URLs that changed.
No build step. No deploy. No manual purge.
You edit in WordPress
Publish, update, unpublish, or reschedule a post, in the admin you already know.
The engine finds what changed
It computes the exact URLs a change affects: the post, its archives (with correct pagination), feeds, and sitemap.
It signs and dispatches the list
That URL list is HMAC-signed and sent to a Cloudflare Worker you deploy from the setup wizard.
The edge updates in seconds
The Worker purges the edge cache, or re-renders to R2. The next visitor sees the change. No build, no deploy.
Everything you need to run WordPress headless
All of this ships in the free plugin.
Per-URL invalidation
Refresh only the URLs a change touched, never the whole site.
Cache warmup
Prime the edge cache across your whole site after a redesign or cutover.
Managed Astro deploy
Create or connect a GitHub repo, push the bundled Astro starter, and deploy to Cloudflare, from wp-admin, no CLI.
REST speed layer
Batched endpoints collapse WordPress’s N+1 REST fan-out for fast server rendering.
Rank Math & Yoast aware
Uses your SEO plugin’s own head and schema, and fills in breadcrumbs when it doesn’t.
Own your infrastructure
Runs on your Cloudflare Workers + R2. Your account, your data, your bill.
Hooks + refresh simulator
Extend which URLs refresh, and dry-run exactly what an edit will invalidate before it ships.
Built-in tutorials
Step-by-step guides ship inside the plugin, always matching your installed version.

Does StaticQ Headless host my site?
No. It deploys to your own Cloudflare account and your own GitHub repository. You own the infrastructure and the code.
Is a full rebuild triggered on every edit?
No, that is the whole point. It computes the specific URLs a change affects and refreshes only those. A full-rebuild build-hook mode is available if you prefer one.
Do I have to use the bundled Astro frontend?
No. Any frontend that follows the plugin’s URL contract works. The bundled Astro starter just gets you live fast.
Does it send my data to StaticQ?
Never. It only talks to the Cloudflare and GitHub accounts you configure. No telemetry, no author-operated service.
Which SEO plugins are supported?
Rank Math and Yoast are detected automatically and their head/structured data is used. Neither is required.
